Earning Passive Income as a Crypto Author In The 2023 Bear Market

In this video, I’ll share what I’m doing as a cryptocurrency author to grow my audience and establish a passive revenue stream, independent of my trading successes or failures.
I’ll guide you through the cryptocurrency author’s community I’ve set up on Discord, and how I produce content and monetize it.
Tapping into the Crypto Author Community
So, if you’re looking to derive some income from your involvement in cryptocurrency, this video is for you.
While it isn’t a comprehensive guide,
I’ll show you what I’m working on currently.
Bitcoin prices, oil prices, silver prices — they’re all fluctuating, and I’m constantly monitoring these movements. I use tools like OBS (Open Broadcast Software) to either livestream these updates or record and upload them later on my private YouTube channel.
Leveraging YouTube’s Capabilities
Once uploaded, YouTube automates the transcription process for me. My goal with these videos is twofold:
- Expand my YouTube channel to attract more followers. A larger follower base translates to more traction across platforms where I intend to monetize.
- Make blog posts from the YouTube-generated transcript, and create another revenue stream and audience growth center.
Engaging with ChatGPT
Here’s what I’ve been doing recently, once I have the transcript, I take it to ChatGPT. Here, I can clean up the content with… minimal changes to the wording.
Be aware, ChatGPT wants to ‘refine this content further’ and sometimes the smudged content in the text of these posts are a LITTLE more clear to follow than my spoken word... But I MUST READ and edit everything that has been processed by ChatGPT while I listen to my video.
After processing the text personally, then I can take the transcript, create support images with midjourney and screenshots, and publish this detailed content in a way that helps people, and, can create income for this project as well.
Monetizing on Different Platforms
Medium, for one, may offer promising revenue stream. Lets see.
My channel has JUST upgraded to potential to earn. As I gather more subscribers, there’s potential to earn from YouTube as well. I don’t know how much I’ll earn. Lets track it and see.
Another revenue channel I’m exploring is Medium’s partner program. The idea is to repurpose transcripts from my youtube videos into engaging articles for Medium. As I’ve already joined various publications as a writer, all I need to do is consistently submit these articles.
Linking and Growing My Presence
Each article acts as a building block for my digital presence. I incorporate backlinks to previous articles and social profiles to build a growth loop.
For instance, in my videos, I frequently mention my trading on the platform SimpleFX, through a referral link.
And, in my transcripts-turned-into-articles, I embed links directing readers to blog posts on my main website. This strategy not only boosts my SEO but also serves as a funnel to other revenue streams.
I’ll continue to share updates on potential earnings within our author’s community.
Exploring Multiple Revenue Streams
While the future promises potential earnings from YouTube viewership, currently, I’m also aiming to establish multiple revenue avenues. Whether it’s discussing charts and patterns to redirect users to a trading platform, earning from Medium reads, trading platform comparisons, or YouTube viewership, I’m diversifying my income sources.
ChatGPT’s Input on Earning Opportunities
I asked ChatGPT what I could do to expand these revenue streams.
This conversation will result in a separate report that might span multiple posts.
I’m eager to see the results and will keep our author’s community updated.
Within this community, especially in the coffee room, I consistently share my processes and findings. It’s been a revealing journey, observing how different strategies fare.
Connecting with Other Authors
There’s significant potential in engaging with contributors at CoinMonks and other publications.
By connecting with crypto authors on medium, I hope to discover talented individuals who might be interested in joining our community on Discord. As cryptocurrency authors, they can share their hands-on experiences in the crypto world.
Seeking Authentic Crypto Content
On our “Write For Us” page, my goal is to source content from individuals genuinely involved in the crypto landscape. Instead of generic articles, I value content that provides insights into real-world applications and experiences in cryptocurrency.
After all, this discussion revolves around my authentic journey in monetizing discussions on cryptocurrency.
A Sustainable Revenue System for the Future
Our vision is to establish a revenue stream that may persist and help others - even in my absence.
If my project, and yours, are to continue long term, it’s essential for the entire project to generate funds consistently.
If our funnel offers true value, it should naturally generate revenue.
