Vibrancy, and Brown Paper Parcels Not Tied up with String
Global Cat Day
This flower (above) is glorious — it’s so vibrant. I’m not sure what it is. What I do know is that, in the graveyard, it gets pulled up and discarded. It is, apparently, a weed.
How strange.

My week has largely been taken up with preparing and packing stuff to send all over the world through the postal service. It is not the most scintillating of occupations, but I am not complaining. This is my busiest month for Christmas orders of cards, coasters and prints that come directly from me. (Rather than my images being on print-on-demand sites where they do all the production and shipping.)

Here’s PupperJack — showing willing but not getting many orders packed.
This year, because I have a lot of other stuff going on, I have decided to close my online store for the whole of November and December because the hassle that often arrives with the Christmas orders just creates too much stress.
However, it does mean I can get more of my other projects done, including a couple of books that have been nearly finished all year!

There are flowers blooming outside the front of the house — above are the Michaelmas Daisies — in their traditional colour, and in white.
They are, apparently, saying ‘goodbye’ to the productive season of the year, and ‘hello’ to autumn.

16th October is ‘Global Cat Day’ — cats need to be treasured (defended and protected), too. Even PupperJack agrees with that. (He does. Honest!)
Last year, Dennett started the Photo-a-Day Challenge to help combat the pandemic blues. She takes photos during the week, chooses the best ones, and adds some narrative.
