Unmasking the Monday Blues

Clues about the untapped rather undiscovered ones

It’s COVID time and everyone has masks on. It’s mandatory nowadays, but what about those that have always been masked?

There they are sitting far in a corner where it’s difficult to find them. Hiding away their successes by masking themselves to be unrecognizable. Is it fair that they remain that way or should we bring them out?

Sitting and reading through our publication — ILLUMINATION and Illumination -Curated over the weekend, I decided to search for those who hadn't been struck under the limelight. Those who deserved to be popular, but weren’t.

I thought to myself, maybe they are great at conversing through words -writing their best in general, but a bit shy in mingling with the rest through interaction. Could that be the reason they are lying low?

They don’t seem to be that active on social media and neither do they discuss their writings, nor do they tweet them and not to forget that they haven't even joined the Slack channel.

And that was it…decision made. I picked out 20 to Unmask their Monday Blues to make sure they get the much-needed applause for their writings.

So let’s get started:-

Alyssa Atkinson

A young girl from Ohio U XC/Track Alum. Engineer grad. Runner. She blogs about food, health, lifestyle, tech, etc. I read Alyssa’s story on I-C and was impressed. This girl has immense potential as well as the zeal to succeed.

Shagun Sharma

Shagun is a business consultant who doesn’t publish daily but writes daily. He loves to read and write on philosophy, society, business and science. As I read his story below, I discovered that with a versatile writing style, Shagun is bound to excel.

Mighty Knowledge

Writing about self-improvement, philosophy, and wealth-building is indeed Mighty’s forte. Doesn’t her name itself say it?

Melissa Bee
