“The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.”

Pink Floyd, “Time”, a phenomenal song on one of the best albums ever, “Dark Side of the Moon”

When I thought about how I wanted to say what I’ve to say, today, on my birthday, those lyrics to this song came to mind.

Then I started to play the song in the video, to make sure it was the right one…and am now listening to (and singing along with) the entire album, while repeatedly thinking to myself,

“This was a great idea!”

Like when I turned 21 and went through with my decision to cut my hair really short after having medium to long hair most of my life.

After Dante (see photo) cut my hair, I had a friend use clippers on my hair to shave it almost completely off.

If you’re curious to see a few photos of what my hair looks liked look when it was really short, check out:

Since it’s my birthday, and I’m feeling peaceful and content, but low energy due to my cycle (if you don’t know what I mean or want more clarity, click here) I decided to shout out some of my favorite human beings publishing stories here on Medium.

(Now I’m listening to another all-time favorite album by Pink Floyd, “The Wall”)

The following people, and/or their stories, are remarkably unique to me and I’d like to share stories from each of them that have stood out to me.
