Summary

The article discusses the concept of Twin Flames in relation to the recent scientific visualization of quantum entanglement, suggesting a parallel between this quantum phenomenon and ancient esoteric principles.

Abstract

The author of the article was prompted to discuss Twin Flames upon learning about a groundbreaking image of quantum entanglement that resembles the Yin-Yang symbol. This image, which captures the entanglement of two photons, is seen as a physical representation that aligns with the duality and polarity principles found in both quantum mechanics and ancient philosophies. The article explores the idea that Twin Flames embody these fundamental aspects of the universe, with the recent scientific evidence supporting the notion that the energy of Twin Flames is deeply rooted in the fabric of reality. The author emphasizes that while not everyone may have a Twin Flame, the concept is an ancient theory rather than a New Age belief, and it reflects the duality inherent in human existence. The article encourages readers to consider Twin Flames as a phenomenon to be experienced and understood rather than a belief system, and it celebrates the convergence of scientific and esoteric perspectives.

Opinions

  • The author is excited and intrigued by the visual evidence of quantum entanglement and its resemblance to the Yin-Yang symbol, seeing it as irrefutable proof that aligns scientific observations with esoteric theories.
  • There is a call to refrain from judging the fascination with Twin Flames, suggesting that this interest is a natural reflection of our own composition and the duality of the universe.
  • The article posits that not everyone has a Twin Flame, proposing that the phenomenon is not universally experienced despite its ancient and theoretical roots.
  • The author distinguishes between experiencing Twin Flames as a theory to explore and adopting it as a belief system, cautioning against the potential pitfalls of the latter.
  • The author expresses satisfaction with the current overlap of science and esotericism, indicating that this is enough progress for the time being and that there is no need to rush further scientific validation of spiritual connections.

Twin Flames Embody Quantum Entanglement

This is why we’re obsessed with Twin Flames — they embody the most primal theories of our known universe.

I was not planning on writing about Twin Flames today. I had a completely other topic cued for this morning — alignment and abundance — but then this news dropped into my feed and I had to talk about it. For those of you who won’t click the link (it’s alright; no shame here) the article is a dense explanation of the photo below — a never-before-seen image of quantum entanglement.

Does it look a little familiar?

Yeah, it looks exactly like the Yin-Yang symbol! !!! (There are not enough exclamation marks to encompass my excitement!) Are you as excited as I am? ARE YOU?

Okay, maybe not. You clicked on an article about Twin Flames and found yourself reading about quantum mechanics. You’re not excited, you’re confused. Let’s rewind a bit and talk about what the heck these two phenomena have to do with each other.

Quantum Entanglement

First off, what does the image above even mean? I’m not a quantum physicist, so I don’t have the language to explain what’s happening up there with any precision. That’s why I linked the article. Haha. However, I can give you the basics, for the purposes of what I’ll get into here.

This is a picture of two photons in quantum entanglement.

A photon is an elementary particle, a quantum (fundamental unit) of an electromagnetic field. Electromagnetism is one of four fundamental forces in nature. It’s the force that exists within atoms — it binds electrons to nuclei and helps them move around, creating an electric charge.

The human body runs on electricity. Cells conduct electrical currents, which produce action potentials, leading to thought, emotion, and movement. If those electric currents are interrupted, it leads to things like heart attack and brain damage.

Basically, we don’t exist without photons, electrons, and the interactions between them.

Now, what's quantum entanglement? This phenomenon, which is observed at the subatomic level, is still being studied and understood by today’s physicists.

Caltech faculty explains that “When two particles, such as a pair of photons or electrons, become entangled, they remain connected even when separated by vast distances.” They’re talking lightyears, my friend. Once entangled, there is an unbreakable correlation between them; they no longer exist independently of one another.

Great, now we’ve got the science down. What does that have to do with Twin Flames?

Twin Flames Are Duality and Polarity

Well, if you’ve read my piece about Twin Flame Separation, you’ll be familiar with the explanation of the Twin Flame phenomena as a gross embodiment of the concepts of duality and polarity.

I used the idea of electric charge — polarity — to discuss the ways twins attract and repel, not unlike electrons within atoms.

I also discussed duality as a fundamental building block of our universe, describing wave-particle duality theory, another observable phenomenon of quantum mechanics.

I then moved into a more esoteric lens, saying that duality as observed in quantum physics is not unlike the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin-Yang. In this philosophy, these complementary aspects are described as masculine and feminine.

This, I said, was the way that twins relate to one another, as two complementary parts of a whole. Twins exist as seemingly separate entities when observed apart, but at the deeper level are one, only understood in totality when both aspects — feminine and masculine — are considered.

Yin-Yang as Quantum Entanglement

The photo that came out today takes all of this one step further. See, when I wrote that last piece, I was paralleling the esoteric and the scientific. I was connecting ideas, but there was no physical evidence that one had anything to do with the other.

Now, we see that photons that are entangled, only existing in relation to one another (which can be described as duality and complementarity —already familiar aspects of quantum mechanics), look exactly like the Yin-Yang symbol.

What does this mean?

Well, to me, it’s irrefutable proof that the fundamental building blocks of our reality as observed by scientific technology (quantum mechanics), are in perfect alignment with the ancient esoteric explanation of the fundamental building blocks of our reality (Yin-Yang, Masculine/Feminine), all previously said to be hogwash and gobble-dee-gook by the scientific community.

So, when I say that the energy of Twin Flames is the embodiment of the most primal theories of our known universe, I’m now backed by science. How fun is that!?

I wonder, knowing this, if we can forgive ourselves for the preoccupation with Twin Flames. Like, can we stop judging ourselves for the obsession?

Twin Flame As a Theory, Not a Belief

The concept of Twin Flames is not a New Age creation, though many would have you believe it is. It’s as ancient as religion itself, which is to say, pretty freaking old. The term is rather new, but the theory is not.

However, the theory being practicalized, actualized through our experience with other human beings — our tangible, felt connections with people — is rather new to us as a collective.

It’s no wonder then, that we’re obsessed with the phenomenon. It represents what we’re made of at the most fundamental level. We’re built from duality for the experience of duality.

I don’t think duality is represented in everyone’s experience by meeting a Twin Flame, for various reasons (it’s my feeling that everyone on this earth right now does not have a twin flame — here’s some theory on that, if you care), but it’s understandable that once the phenomenon became more common in the human experience, it’d be something most people felt drawn to.

It’s not that draw or curiosity that gets people in trouble. It’s when “Twin Flame” becomes less of a theory to explore and understand, and more of a belief that it becomes a problem.

I say this all the time, but soul connections are not a belief system. They are phenomena, they are about experience, something observable (even if only by you and that other person). Experience just is and the theory is supported by the fact of your experience.

What’s observable by your senses — your mind, your body, your heart, your intuition — advanced and attuned as they are, is much more complex than that of today’s technology. So, science can’t yet support the theory of the existence of these connections.

Maybe one day technology will get to the point where it can perceive the energetic entanglement of Twin Flames that are thousands of miles away from each other.

I’m not in any rush, though. Today’s reveal visibly overlaps the worlds of science and esotericism in ways they haven’t been for a long time. That’s enough to satisfy me for a good long while.
