Tulip Mania
A poem for my garland, welcoming the second half of 2020

Petals as colourful as rainbows linking cultures from Ottoman rule and bulbmania, to fields filled with joy.
The poet Tapan Avasthi inspired this poem. He said that in India, guests are welcomed with flower garlands, and prompts us poets to welcome the second half of 2020, a year that has seen so much tragedy, with a garland of floral poetry of hope.
