Face The Sun

A poem to welcome the second half of 2020 with hope

Turn your back to the past, face the sun. Grow with your gaze on the horizon, plant seeds of hope. Be a tournesol.

The poet Tapan Avasthi inspired this poem. He said that in India, guests are welcomed with flower garlands, and prompts us poets to welcome the second half of 2020, a year that has seen so much tragedy, with a garland of floral poetry of hope.
