Trump Scores Massive Victory as Col Sec of State Fears SCOTUS & Certifies His Place on 2024 Ballots
In a shocking move, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold defies the State Supreme Court ruling and promptly re-adds POTUS 45 to state ballots and immediately certifies them as soon as SCOTUS agrees to take the case

On Friday, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold officially certified the Republican and Democrat ballots for the 2024 presidential primary election. Griswold’s statement conveyed that the United States Supreme Court had accepted the case, ensuring Donald Trump’s inclusion on the ballot.
Griswold had this to say regarding her decision to re-add Trump to Colorado’s ballots despite the State Supreme Court’s decision:
“Colorado’s 2024 Presidential primary ballot is certified. The United States Supreme Court has accepted the case, and Donald Trump will appear on the ballot as a result.”
For Colorado voters affiliated with either the Republican or Democrat party by February 12, they will receive a ballot solely from their affiliated party. Unaffiliated voters, on the other hand, will receive ballots from both parties, but they are allowed to cast a vote on only one ballot for it to be valid.
This development follows the Supreme Court’s decision to review a contentious ruling from Colorado’s top court, which initially deemed Trump ineligible for the presidency, thereby excluding him from the state’s primary ballot. The Supreme Court set a rapid schedule for filings and scheduled arguments for February 8, with a potential decision shortly afterward, just in time for Super Tuesday on March 5.
The core of the dispute revolves around the Constitution’s insurrection clause, a provision from the Civil War era, preventing individuals engaged in insurrection after pledging to defend the Constitution from holding public office. The Colorado Supreme Court had earlier ruled, in a divided 4–3 decision on December 19, that Trump’s involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack disqualified him from the presidency. However, the court paused its decision to allow Trump and the Colorado GOP to appeal.
The biggest problem with that argument seems to be that no official law enforcement agency has yet to proclaim what took place on January 6, 2021, was in fact an insurrection. This viewpoint is only strengthened by the fact that, to date, not even one of the over 1,000 people charged and/or convicted of crimes resulting from the Capitol riot has ever been charged with or convicted of aiding in an insurrection or insurrectionist activities of any kind — including former President Donald Trump.
Many of the former President’s supporters as well as his legal team have posed the question — “How can someone be guilty of participating in, or aiding an insurrection if nobody has ever been charged with insurrectionist activity?”
The latest statement released by Ms. Griswold also lists candidates who have submitted their intent and filing fee to appear on the Colorado Presidential Primary Ballot, including Democratic and Republican candidates, as well as a “Noncommitted Delegate” option for voters with no specific presidential candidate preference.
