True or False Bug
A poem
Ladybugs and fireflies circling my toes and head, do they have fear or dread or do they have eyes, know who I am, and smile in surprise?
They bring light and good luck and gather their charm, to send me their magic to give me no harm.
I wonder if the ladybug is a lady and the firefly a possible mate because you never know what could be fate.
A different beau who might be all show and then you’d be in unfavorable woe.
So, find the one who will give you the most of his heart and never just a big boost to keep you apart.
A ladybug and a firefly would be the talk of the town, but you’d know in your heart he’s just hanging around.
Showing off and not giving you the time Don’t be fooled and live just fine.
To all the ladybugs and fireflies that thought it was a snatch, but couldn’t find the light that made the right match.
Fireflies are beetles. Whether you call them fireflies or lightning bugs, these insects are neither flies nor true bugs. Instead, they are beetles, just like ladybugs and rhinoceros beetles. https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/11-cool-things-you-never-knew-about-fireflies/
