When writing on Medium, or anywhere for that matter, something we all want is views. We can try and pretend we don’t and deceive our brains into thinking that writing for ourselves is better.

But that’s horse… manure, we all want views, and we all want reads. Especially on Medium, as that’s one of the factors that helps us get paid. If you want to know every way we get paid find out below:

A view is counted as someone who clicks on your article, from there we can potentially get them to read.

But how do we get them to click our article? After all, we only have a title and an image to convince them to take a look.

Title

You need to spend more time on your title. I recommend spending 75% of your time writing the content, and 25% writing your title. It’s that important, a bad article with a good title will make more money than a good article with a bad title, fact.
