Time to Take Massive Action

The 3 x 3

Last week was a real wake-up call for me. First, drowning in a pool of worry about my financial situation. You see, I have not had a steady stream of income that was sufficient to pay the bills since I got laid off a year ago. I reached out to my life coach, @morningcoach, for support and got a good lesson in focus, priorities and taking massive action. Then, soon after I set my sights on what needs to be done, my dad died.

I now feel that I must honor him by doing whatever it takes to be a success as a professional mentor, life coach, and writer. My dad had a heart of gold and would go above and beyond to help others. So in that spirit, I am offering a helping hand, to these three writers, introducing their wonderfully inspiring stories. Enjoy this week’s 3X3.

Ephraim Champion is quite an inspirational guy, and with a name like Champion that is no surprise. He is a firm believer in the adage if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.

In The Wrong Kind of Comfort in Misery, he writes about withdrawing from life’s trials. Taking time off sometimes feels good. However, it is going to be a miserable feeling at some point for anyone that is driven. Read how he overcame that desire to just do nothing.

Everyone wants to give advice. Most people, however, have their own best interest in mind, or their point of view is so jaded that it clouds their guidance. I’m Never Going To Tell You That You Can’t Do It takes an empathetic view of why you should be careful who you take council from.

A Champion’s Philosophy starts with this line, “My last name is Champion. It’s about time I started acting like one.” That we should all be so lucky.

Jaja Requa is a strong woman fighting the adversities of life. She states openly that she is bipolar, has ADHD, and is a schizoid personality. That makes her eccentric, and her stories are hymns of a survivor.

How to Help Your Own Damn Self & Be Your Own Therapist is a reminder that we know ourselves better than anyone. And given the proper tools, we can solve most problems put before us.

In a story that seems like it comes out of Think and Grow Rich, She shares her story of unlimited possibilities: How to Manifest Anything.

This story first introduced me to Ja Ja, Treating ‘Black’ People Equally is The Quickest Way to be called a “Racist.” It reminds us that it’s “not only about the color of your skin, It’s about the content of your character!”

Jennica Rose is a State Auditor and weaves stories of her unusual experiences (the names have been changed to protect the innocent).

Here is her introduction to the work she does. What Happens When a State Auditor Writes?

In How Her Staff Stole Millions from the Government, she gives a behind-the-scenes look at a case.

But she doesn’t just write about her work. Here is a touching poem about mourning. LISTEN — The voice that keeps talking

And that is the message I am taking with me. My dad hasn’t left me. He has become more a part of me.

I rarely pitch my services, but my dad said it’s ok. If you’d like to work with me, please take a look at my website, or send me a message. I have been coaching champions like you for a long time.

Thanks for reading.

Win the Day!

John
