Tiana belonged to a vast network of vigilantes that kept the city safe. She was approached while she was still in college. She had a special set of skills that they were looking for.
She hadn’t always been tough. She got pushed around a lot as kid. But as she got older she learned to take care of herself. And she learned to be smart about it.
Never pick a fight you can’t win. That was the first lesson her sensei taught her.
She first met him during a basic self-defense class, and he saw something in her. Something fierce.
This 20th drabble is written as part of the “100 Story Challenge” by @Zane Dickens.
