This Is Why Voting Is A Complete Waste Of Time
“Yo Ancestors Died for You to Vote!” says the Old Negros.

I think we can all agree that Dr. Martin Luther King gave one of the most iconic speeches in American history when he stood outside the Lincoln Memorial on August 28th, 1963 and told an estimate of 250,000 people who attended the March on Washington and millions watching at home that “He had a Dream!” It was a beautiful speech that none of us will ever forget, I mean, how could forget? They replay the speech every year during Black History Month and on MLK Day. It’s damn impossible.
Well, I think it’s safe to say that “dream” was turn into a reality! And one of those dreams was for Black people in America having the right to vote without any restrictions.
Voting Rights
We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Well, we certainly don’t have to worry about that. Thanks to the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, The Voting Rights Act of 1965 can fruition and this country overcame all barriers at the local and state levels that prohibited Black Americans our right to exercise their vote per the 15th Amendment under the United States Constitution. And for decades and decades, Black folks have had the honor of choosing which slave master they would have as their ruler — Democratic or Republican?
In the last election, we had two choices: Donald Trump or Joe Biden. Black folks choose [Jim Crow] Joe Biden, a known White Supremacist who has done more harm to Black people than any other politician in American history thanks to that 1994 Crime Bill he drafted. But for some odd reason, Black folks had this narrative that he was the “lesser of two evils.” The month of September has just begun today and I still haven’t seen, heard, or received anything tangible from “your” President. All I’ve seen so far from him this year was him passing laws to protect the LGBTQ community; the Asian community, and Immigrants. Black folks can’t even get Joe Biden and Congress to greenlight the George Floyd Policing Act.
Oh, and do I also have to bring up the fact that FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICANS HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED OUR REPARATIONS!
But hey, at least we don’t have to deal with Trump anymore. That’s good enough.
