This Is Why Medium Suits Me More Than a Blog

I don’t want to do that boring stuff, If Medium is already doing it for me

As an entrepreneur, I have tried everything in the world to earn money like Freelancing, Print-on-demand, Affiliate marketing, selling digital products, and many more things. But nothing satisfied me more than Medium.

For me, Medium is the ultimate way to become popular and earn money as a writer. Because it’s easy to start and pays you instantly after writing your first story. That payment is nothing but when you see the dollars in front of your story, it motivates you to write more and never leave.

Update: Medium used to pay writers from the first day but now they have changed their policies regarding the “Medium Partner Program”. And now you need at least 100 Followers and a single story published to become eligible for the partner program.

I chose Medium over my blog because it’s a perfect fit for my writing style.

I mostly write about those things which you can’t search on Google like my own experiences, success, and failures. And for this type of content Medium is a good choice because they have a pre-built audience ready to read your content.

You don’t need to be a professional writer or learn any advanced skills to write on Medium. And that’s something that encourages me to write on Medium.

I know all the technical things about blogging but don’t love to do those boring stuff for every story I write. Because if Medium is doing it for me then why would I want to do it.

You can review from my writing style that I am not a professional writer. Even though I am a non-native English writer who has faced many problems. But I know how to convey my message or transfer my knowledge. And if you can do this, you can become successful on Medium.

These are some of the things that force me to write on Medium. But the thing I love the most about Medium is that you can write in any niche you want.

If you are providing value for other people you can write about it on Medium. People will read your content if it has some value for them, whether it’s in your niche or not.

I have seen many people confused, whether they should write on Medium or their blog. But don’t worry, I have written about it to help you choose the one that matches you perfectly.
