This Is How Much Money I Made After Spending Half-Year on Medium

Adding all the money makes a good total

I am one of those people who started writing on Medium to earn some money. I have always tried learning different things to earn money online. But unfortunately, nothing worked for me. I tried youtube, blogging, freelancing, selling digital products, and many more things. But failed to make any money, except a freelancing project that made me $100.

I was something like 14 or 15 years old when I started trying different things to earn money online. But I failed to make any money because I was doing something wrong.

I was trying to learn everything and I also had a perfection habit that stopped me from doing anything. But you should know it if you are learning all the time or trying to be perfect everywhere, you won’t make any money online.

But the day I realized my mistakes. I tried avoiding my perfection and learning habits and started writing on Medium. And after that, I never thought about learning any other thing.

I started writing on Medium in July of 2020, but wrote only two stories and left Medium for more than a year due to some reasons. But after that, I started writing again in September of 2021. And never thought about leaving Medium again because I have already made a big mistake.

So, I have been writing consistently on Medium since September 2021. And as you know, February is gonna end soon. This means it’s almost a half year since I have started writing on Medium consistently.

But you will be curious about how much money I made from Medium after writing for almost a half year — Let's know about it.

My Earnings

It has been a total of six months since I have started writing on Medium consistently. February is not completed yet but I will count its earnings till today (20th February).

By adding the earnings of all six months from the above screenshot. You can clearly see that I have made a grand total of $150.29.

I know many writers earn more than this in a single month. Even there are some writers who are making more than $150 in a single day. But I am still happy because there are also some writers who are not able to earn $150 in a whole year.

I am also happy because it's the beginning of my writing career. I know I will earn more as I spent some time here. I am telling this because I know many people who are earning millions just because they didn’t quit when they were earning $1.

So, I will suggest being patient because patience is the most important thing if you wanna make money online.
