I was shocked to see the difference

I’ve been writing on Medium ever since the summer of 2019. During this time I’ve written over 240 articles, and have experimented with many writing styles. Some of these articles didn’t create such a difference while some caught the reader’s eye and stood out from the rest.

What have I learned?

Firstly, as it can be seen in the statistics, the more a story gets internal views, the more it earns.

Also, the average reading time matters, and so the more you write engaging articles, the more chance your reader spends time reading them.

I have also learned that it brings value to experiment with your writing to find the style of writing that is enjoyable for you to write, as well as it is enjoyable for your readers to read.

Lastly, it is good not to put all of your eggs into one basket.

Out of 240 articles I’ve written, some of them outshined others, and some didn’t perform as much as I expected them to.

Therefore I believe quantity matters as well as quality.
