This is How I Plan To Make $10,000 in December 2023

My Ambitious Goal

I have a clear specific goal for December 2023. Yes, it might sound crazy to some but it’s been a lofty goal of mine since I started making money online.

I have been able to build many side hustles up in the past few years. I’ve been successful with some and failed with others. My failures have only caused me to become more focused and helped me to streamline my strategies.

I plan to make $10,000 in December 2023 with these income streams:

Amazon KDP- $6000

Amazon Kindle direct publishing (KDP) allows authors to self publish books on Amazon and earn royalties. I started this side hustle back in June 2020 and it’s been a consistent stream on income since.

I currently averaging about $2000 in gross profit each month from this platform and during December your earnings usually 3–5x. I plan to upload more books, build my brands and run ads before the Q4 rush starts.

Youtube- $1000

This has been the most challenging income stream to build. It took me 18 months to get monetised but I finally joined the Youtube partner program in January and earned roughly $270 during my full month in February. I have surpassed this amount in March and I plan to create 4–8 videos per month to help me reach $1000 dollars by December.

Affiliate Marketing-$1500

Affiliate marketing involves promoting products or services and earning a commission on each sale. This income stream has really been growing in the past 3 months and it gets easier the bigger you audience is.

I only promote products and use and that I have earned an income using. This month I should earn between $300-$500 and I’m hoping this will 3–5x by December.

Medium- $250

I finally started writing on Medium this month after much procrastination. I joined the medium partner program after 10 days and I’m really enjoying writing on the platform so far. I write about my side hustles and experiences making money online to inspire my readers to start their own journey.

My plan is to write as often as I can and reach 100 stories. From there I will begin to create more stories around the articles that have the most engagement and develop continue to develop my writing style.

Etsy $250

I currently sell Canva templates and KDP interiors. I have only achieved 10 sales so far on Etsy with 20 listings, I plan to use the months of June and July to begin uploading high quality products and optimising my store’s SEO.

Creative Fabrica $500

I also sell Canva templates and KDP interiors on Creative Fabrica however it’s been working out much better for me than Etsy. The platform has several unique was to make money on the platform which I plan to utilise. My main focus is to upload quality listings and make the most of there affiliate marketing program.

Merch By Amazon $500

Merch by Amazon (MBA) is a print-on-demand service offered that allows individuals to create and sell custom-designed t-shirts and other apparel.

This has been one my most challenging income stream so far. MBA has a tiered system and you start at tier 10 where you can only create a maximum on 10 designs (1 per day) and you only get tiered up once you get 8–10 sales.

It’s very frustrating being in the lower tiers and feeling so limited however I will use the summer months to find the best strategy to get me out of these lower tiers.

Other Potential Income Streams

I’m also considering starting on some of these income streams which could definitely play a huge role in helping me reach my goal. These include a newsletter, digital products and an online course.

Final Thoughts

Achieving a $10,000 income in December is an ambitious goal, but with dedication, strategic planning, and consistent effort across multiple income streams, it is entirely possible.

I will continue to document my journey here and my monthly earnings too. I believe in putting your goals out there and working relentlessly until they happen. When December comes I can only succeed or learn lessons which will help me towards reaching a $10,000 month.
