This Easy 3-Step Minimalist Book Writing System Can Help You Publish Faster
Go from idea to published book easily and quickly today.

The key to this whole system is just one word.
If you know what the word means, you’ll understand everything.
And if you don’t, I’ll explain it.
That word is…
Listicle
For those who don’t know, a listicle is a list-based article.
Here are some listicles on Medium to give you a better understanding:
- 5 Steps to Better Retain and Apply What You Read by J.R. HEIMBIGNER
- 7 Successful Principles for Work and Side Hustle (You Want to Follow Them) by Robin Sanah Kai | 1-Minute Creator
- 12 Questions a Creator Needs To Ask Themselves by Christina Piccoli
- My 10 Best Writing Tips For Solopreneurs by me :)
Now that you know what it is, let me tell you how this becomes a 3-step system to help you publish a minimalist book easily and quickly.
- Create your list. If you need help, you can ask ChatGPT to give you a list of items and choose from it. Ideally, you want 10–20 items on your list.
- Write a chapter. They don’t need to be long, even just 300–400 words per chapter can do the trick. The goal is to create a minimalist book.
- Publish your book. You can publish on a platform like Gumroad (ebook), or self-publish through Amazon KDP (ebook, paperback, hardcover, audiobook).
It really is this simple to do, and the best part is that once you’ve published one you can create variables based on the same one.
Here are three ways to easily create more books based on the first one:
- Make another book (or more) with other list items that weren’t covered in the first book. If your first book is the “10 Best Places to Visit in New York”, your 2nd book is “The Next 10 Best Places to Visit in New York”.
- Another option is to create one that is similar but with a different variable. Keeping with the same example in #1, you could create “10 Best Places to Visit in Miami”.
- You could also do the same thing but instead of changing a variable, add on to make it more specific. Something like “10 Best Places to Visit in New York with Small Kids”.
Start with one book based on a listicle, then expand it into a series using one of the 3 ways shown above.
You can have an unlimited number of books published in a single series.
Start all this by publishing a simple listicle story on Medium today!
