My friend David McIlroy published a great story about headlines and which topics get the most views.
Read his story, and then you’ll understand the title of this story.
Normally, I’ll come up with an idea and write the headline, and sometimes adjust it after I’ve written the story, but this time I’m doing the opposite.
The headline was created from his article, and now I need to come up with the content to do it justice.

My 10 best writing tips for solopreneurs.
- Write every single day, even if it’s just 100 words.
- Choose the length that you enjoy best.
- Listicles are your friend.
- Publish on the platform(s) you love.
- Consume to create.
- Edit after or not at all.
- Write as you speak.
- Formatting is important.
- Make it skimmable.
- Always be yourself.
It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I think I did good.
