This 1 Mistake Causes 99% Of Your Problems
“I remember… times when I felt I could go anywhere and do anything, holding myriad life patterns in my hand like cards, and feeling free to choose- yet if I look at all that from a certain angle, I see that I never had a choice at all but was only submitting to a fate that had long since been chosen for me.” Hunter S Thompson.
I have a plan and I’m working towards it every day, or am I following the path that has been laid out before me?
The purpose of our lives and the meaning behind things we do have always interested me.
Why do people have certain jobs? Why do they choose to live where they live? Even how people dress and carry themselves is interesting to me.
It’s all completely subjective, based on style and preference.
Something I think is important may be unimportant to you and vice versa.
If importance is subjective does it even exist?
We all have goals and plans, how often do they work out exactly as we think?
Never, that’s not necessarily bad, it could end up being better than we expect.
Regardless, the results are out of our control, no matter how hard we try.
The more we think we’re in control, or attempt to control everything, the more upset and frustrated we become.
That’s because no matter how hard we try, there is only so much we can do in a situation.
This may sound depressing, but it’s not.
It’s good news.
We should still have plans and goals while understanding that what we learn along the way is just as important as reaching the goal.
I have mental blocks that have been holding me back my whole life, once I began to work on those shortcomings my life improved.
That doesn’t mean I was a failure before, and all of a sudden I’m super successful.
It means I haven’t learned the lesson yet.
Once I face my fears and insecurities and address them, I will overcome them.
We are all faced with these situations every day, our fears and insecurities presenting themselves in numerous different forms.
We need to realize these problems are here to help.
Understanding everything we experience is here for a reason, and can help us if we’re open to it, we see we’re on a path.
That path is unfolding as it should and the journey it takes you on is happening right on time.
Embrace the journey and the path becomes more enjoyable.
