These Micro Shifts in Your Writing Can Avoid Writer’s Block Easily
It won’t take more than a day to make these changes
Many writers face a problem in their writing career where they want to write but can’t write a single word. They feel so disturbed while facing writer’s block because It feels really bad when you have so many ideas, but you can’t write them.
Writer’s block is a headache for many writers. Everyone wants to avoid it to write freely without any distractions.
There are many stories out there that can help you avoid writer’s block. But if you want to avoid writer’s block easily and quickly, you need to make some micro shifts in your writing.
These are the quickest and easiest ways to avoid writer’s block. You can even avoid it in a day.
Let’s start;
Make bullet points
You should make bullet points before writing because it will help you remember what you were gonna write.
Take bullet points of everything like what information you wanted to give your audience, what was the point of writing the story, what you wanted to teach your audience, what you wanted to explain, etc.
I have doubled my writing speed by applying this method to my writing. I learned this method from Zulie Rane. She used to teach this on her Youtube channel.
Eliminate distractions
When you start writing, there should be no distractions coming in your way because humans get distracted very easily. Distractions can be an important factor in your writer’s block. But you can avoid it by avoiding the distractions.
If you are writing on your laptop, try to turn off your smartphone, TV, etc. If you are writing on your smartphone, try to turn off your laptop, TV, etc. This way, you will never feel distracted and write your story with a lot of motivation and a good mood.
Not only smartphones and TV, but you should avoid everything that distracts you.
Do not end your thoughts
Many writers have a specific time for their writing. When time goes off, they stop writing. But most writers rush to complete their sentences or paragraphs, which leads to writer’s block when they try to write again tomorrow.
You don’t have to rush finishing your sentences when time goes off. You should leave the sentence in between. Because when you write again tomorrow, instead of facing a period, you would quickly jump into the thoughts that you have left yesterday.
Writer’s block has two ways to avoid it, either you should stop it or leave writing for some time. So, I am also gonna share with you some relaxing ways to avoid writer’s block.
Go for a walk
You can also avoid writer’s block by leaving writing for some time. Because sometimes it’s not writer’s block but exhaustion, and you need something to relax.
If you want to get relaxed, going out for a walk is the best option. Because when you go out for a walk, the fresh air enters your body and makes your brain relax. Your blood starts circulating in the body and makes you feel energized.
Eat something
When you feel like you have writer’s block, try eating something because it gives your body the energy you want. And your brain starts working very fast with many fresh thoughts and ideas.
You can do many other things like listening to music, doing exercise or yoga, reading a book, etc. You can try everything as long as it relaxes you.
