There Is A New TMNT Game Coming In 2024

Outright Games has announced a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game coming next year.

In some of my past posts, I’ve chatted about some cool games, and you can find the links to those below. But in today’s post, I’m all about spilling the beans on the brand-new TMNT game that Outright Games just dropped on us!

Guess who’s making a grand comeback in the gaming world? Yep, you got it — those talkative turtles that everyone knows and loves are back! This time, it’s all thanks to Outright Games, and they’re promising a game that’s inspired by the recent hit movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” brought to us by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, and Point Grey.

These turtles, who’ve been in the limelight for decades, are making a triumphant return to gaming, thanks to a publisher that knows how to deliver top-notch and super-engaging games.

So, earlier this year, our favorite shell-wearing heroes returned to the big screen with a bang in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.” And let me tell you, it was an all-star cast! You’ve got comedy legends like Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, and John Cena, not to mention the rising star Ayo Edebiri, who gained fame from the FX/Hulu series “The Bear.”

This TMNT movie was a massive hit, and that’s a big reason why we’re getting this exciting new video game. These turtles have been around since 1984, thanks to the creative minds of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, and they’ve made their mark across all forms of media.

Outright Games just dropped the news that they’re cooking up a fresh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, inspired by the blockbuster movie we just mentioned. It’s set to hit consoles and PC screens in 2024.

The game’s storyline will pick up where the events of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” left off, and the graphics will be drawn from the stunning visual style of the film. Naturally, you can expect to see all your favorite characters from the TMNT universe in the game.

So, what’s the game all about? Well, it’s taking place in a stylized version of the Big Apple, and you guessed it, there’s a new mutant menace to deal with. Players will get to step into the shoes — or should I say shells — of our beloved heroes.

And trust me, you can count on some epic team battles and a storyline that’s sprinkled with that signature TMNT humor we all adore. Doug Rosen, Senior Vice President of Games and Emerging Media at Paramount, couldn’t be more excited. He says:

“The vibrancy of this new film’s animation lends itself perfectly to video games, and we can’t wait for everyone to play it.”

Now, if you’re a true TMNT fan, you’ll know that this franchise has given us some seriously iconic games over the years. Remember “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist” for the Sega Genesis back in ‘92? That game was an absolute gem!

And guess what? They revived that classic beat ’em up game in 2022 with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,” and it blew fans’ minds!

It’s no surprise that folks are buzzing with excitement about this new TMNT game, especially after the success of the movie that’s serving as its muse.
