The War of Minds
A Free verse poetic rant with regard to all mental health disorders on the prompt “health”
You wear the Cloak of invisibility and parade the human-kind as if it were a celebration; devouring on their joy and elation striking, unbeknownst to them; a cold-blooded murder of their beautiful minds. You wear that cloak of invisibility and create a psychological warfare; you smirk with a contemptuous look knowing its vandalization — to be more damning than nuclear warfare; you wear that cloak of invisibility cunning, ruthless, stony-hearted; lashing out and rendering the humans unrelenting — to their own intellect, emotions and reality; listless to do even the things once the best of their ability. You wear that cloak of invisibility thinking that you’ll play; this game of minds I bow; to your wily cleverness. Your cursed soul dares to trick the doomed ones in their own troubled mind-snares even if you wear that cloak of invisibility let me break your airy bubble; the humans by no means condemned; for taking a defeat not in their nature, we SHALL fight back we ARE fighting back; and one glorious day shall we, have a triumph in this psychological warfare.
