The Vampire Killer Who Drank The Blood Of His Victims And Ate Their Remains
Richard Chase used to kill people for the sake of blood…

Born in May 1950 and died in December 1980, Richard Trenton Chase was an American rapist and serial killer. He killed six people in Sacramento, California, within a month. In addition to the Vampire Killer, he was nicknamed as The Dracula Killer and The Vampire of Sacramento. The worst part is that he used to drink the blood of his victims and had been cannibalizing their remains.
In case you are not aware, cannibalism is the act of consuming another person’s remains or body parts as food. Human cannibalism has been documented in ancient and recent times.
How It All Started?
Richard Trenton Chase was a native of California. At the age of 10, he exhibited evidence of the Macdonald triad. This archaic theory suggests the development of psychopathy. When he grew up, Richard Chase became a drug addict. He also developed hypochondria and used to complain about the slow heartbeat. Other than this, he was often found to be saying that somebody was stealing his pulmonary artery.
The Dracula Killer basically thought that his cranial bones had separated and that they were moving around all the time. So, he finally decided to shave his head in order to observe all of these activities.
After leaving the house of his parents, Richard Trenton Chase rented an apartment with a few friends. One of his friends claimed that the killer was under the influence of marijuana, LSD, and alcohol and that he had made their lives difficult. He was often found to be walking around the apartment without clothes, and this is when his friends asked him to leave the apartment. Upon refusal, they decided to move out.
He was left alone by everyone. He started capturing, killing disemboweling different animals. It was probably due to a lack of money. He often mixed the raw organs with his favorite soft drink. Gradually, Richard Trenton Chase began thinking that the consumption of animal meat was good for his health.
The Series Of Murders
After developing the habit of killing and eating animals, Richard Trenton Chase started killing humans. In December 1977, he killed his first known victim on the road. The name of the person was Ambrose Griffin; he was a 51-year-old engineer.
Later on, Richard Trenton Chase tried to enter the house of a woman. He could not do so because all of the doors and windows were locked. A couple once caught him when he was stealing their belongings. The worst part is that he had defecated their child’s clothing and bed.
In January 1978, he shot a pregnant woman named Teresa Wallin. Afterward, he fulfilled his physical desires and stabbed her with a knife. The heartless and sick-minded man removed her body organs and drank the blood.
The same month, he fatally shot 38-year-old Evelyn Miroth and her 6-year-old nephew David Ferreira. Richard Chase then ate some of her body parts. Her neighbor got to know what was going on and they called the police. The investigation officer found his handprints in Evelyn Miroth’s blood.
Richard Trenton Chase was arrested, and when the police searched his apartment, they found a lot of blood and body organs in the refrigerator. The Vampire Killer committed suicide in December 1980 when he was in jail. The forensic report revealed that he had taken excessive antidepressants.
