The Unsavory Sword
From Court To Jail, As The Bell Tolls
When you do the Crime, you have to do the Time as California filed 100 Cases Against Trump’s Injustice to the Office and Humanity.
An unsavory sword cuts deep and wide
blood pouring as it strides
killing everything it can
causing havoc all over this land
sitting in a white house looking down low
seeking whom to destroy, many as it go
one day met a determined hammer
without fail it started to stammer
determined the sword had to go
using the court as under his hand
100 lawsuits against the sword stands
the hammer determined all the while
the sword, no checks and balances gone wild
like a spoiled and out of control child
but the hammer in court make its case
lots of legal charges the sword faces
for breaking the law of the land
while knocking others to the sand
no conscience or regard for another
even had no regard for its own brother
who laid dying alone in a hospital bed
while the sword played golf instead
later enjoyed provoking anarchy, hatred and fear
maiming anyone who disagreed, far and near
the sword’s ego could not get enough
making the country’s life very tough
the sword broke the law as it pleased
from the white house with much ease
to divide and conquer for self gain
breaking the law, like pouring rain
with 100 lawsuits the hammer does wait
for the court to do and the sword freedom to take
changing federal policies, for breakfast the sword ate
harmful to all, the hammer charges and loudly states
in the midst of it all, the sword irate
the hammer determined his soul to take
as the sword leave the white house
with handcuffs the hammer doused
having the sword escorted to jail
slowly as the public yells
lock him up and times up
many lives it did interrupt
the sword caught red-handed
when escorted to jail, it erratically ranted
everything is better because of me
because of me, everything better don’t you see
knowing there was a barrage of lawsuits to its name
clueless, the sword thought it added to its lame fame
real life unlike tv life, everybody watches
policies, immigration, healthcare, education,
gun control, consumer protection, the census,
U.S. Postal Service and civil rights issues
the sword now pays for failing to comply
against federal rules and laws, he did lie
when November comes many say goodbye
LA for one will celebrate the most
watching the last of this bad ghost
that reeked havoc in every foot step
so much division, nothing left
the sword rumbles, stumbles
with its’ actions begin to crumble
and fall right before our eyes
with all the lies to its own demise
the state now begins anew
undoing wrong, begins to renew.
the unsavory sword goes to jail, while the bell tolls
many are happy, and shout let the good times roll.
