The Trailer for the Upcoming Flash Movie Has Officially Been Released
Check out DC’s newest trailer for The Flash.

The moment fans have been eagerly awaiting is finally here, as the first official trailer for the highly anticipated movie, The Flash, has been released.
Warner Bros. Discovery unveiled the trailer during the Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, giving fans their first look at the solo story of Ezra Miller’s character Barry Allen, also known as The Flash.
This trailer marks the first time a Warner Bros. film has been showcased at the Super Bowl in 17 years, with the last time being in 2006 when the studio displayed sneak peeks of V for Vendetta, Poseidon, and 16 Blocks.
While Warner Bros. projects have been featured in Super Bowl ad campaigns in the past, such as Wonder Woman 1984 in 2020, the only other time a sneak peek was given was during the 2022 Year of Heroes teaser, which included footage from The Flash, The Batman, Black Adam, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
More about The Flash
So, what can fans expect from The Flash? The movie follows Barry Allen as he travels back in time to prevent the murder of his mother. However, this action leads to unintended consequences in his timeline.
The film will be directed by the talented filmmaker behind IT, Muschietti, and will feature a script written by Christina Hodson, who has previously worked on Birds of Prey and Batgirl.
The cast for the film includes Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen, Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso in currently undisclosed roles.
In an interview during the DC FanDome event in October 2021, Miller hinted at the movie’s plot, stating the following:
“In one way, I’d say there’s a few villains, or so-called villains, who are in our movie. And then in another way, I’d say there aren’t any villains in a way that might be part of the exploration and message of the movie”
He went on to explain that this leaves the film shrouded in mystery, making it all the more intriguing for fans.
