Wondrous Waterfalls

“All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.”

– Toni Morrison

You hear her from miles away Splashing sounds that surrender to its power Crushing the earth beneath

Then you see the beauty You reach nature in its finest Never have I seen something like this before

How can this place exist? Is this reality? Am I going to wake up soon?

But it's real…

You keep going closer and closer The mist saying hello

Everything seems so fresh The air is guiding you toward its majesty

You then stand right in front

There it is

You have found it

The serenity

A few years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Chiapas, Mexico, and visit more natural places and not just the ordinary touristic spots. It was indeed a once of a lifetime experience!

One of the places that has always been my top favorite is the Blue Water Waterfalls. They are the biggest I have seen so far and they are truly one of a kind. The water is stunningly blue and you can take a dive too!

I can even remember the coldness of the water creeping in as we swam. I never knew water could be that cold but it was all worth it.

The hike toward the top of the waterfall was marvelous as well. It was a natural temple that guided you towards tranquility and calmness with every step you took.

Hopefully one day, I will soon go back and enjoy this wondrous waterfall.

Thank you Sahil Patel for creating this perfect prompt which enabled me to go back to one of my favorite trips ever!
