The Sense of Political Entitlement Is Pervasive In The US
Children and young people have been paying attention to what has been going on during the election season
Introduction
The 2020 United States presidential election season has been unprecedented. Democracy has been undermined in this nation because many ardent supporters of President Donald Trump want him to secure the victory of another four-year term in office.
President-Elect Joseph Biden secured more than enough electoral votes to be declared the winner. However, a growing number of Trump proponents have ignored the fair election process that has prevailed to give him another term. This is because they share his entitlement riddled character. These cult-like followers want what they want at any cost and will even destroy the democratic process to get it. Sadly, the inexcusable actions of the Trump loyalists are setting a horrific example for children and young people.
This article explores this atrocity more deeply.
Trump Disciples
Donald Trump is a man who has lived his entire life blanketed in privilege. Opportunities have been presented to him for the taking because power has accompanies his wealth and notoriety. People have catered to his desires because of who he is. Trump leads many people who blindly follow him in a trance like state because I wholeheartedly believe that they subconsciously conclude that doing so will bring them closer to having a slice of his opulent world. Trump followers genuinely trust and believe his words, promises, claims, and the rest of his utterances with an unwavering level of allegiance and adoration. These people remain desperately hungry and thirsty for the ability to follow him because he has become a deity to them. Because they honor and worship him, he is all things good and perfect to them. Their mindset is that Trump deserves whatever he wants even if traditional protocols that block his path have to be annihilated just for him. Followers concur that he is exclusively entitled to the affirmative and absolutely any position of power and authority that he exclusively wants.
For the first time in his life, the thing that Donald Trump wants the most but cannot have has escaped his grasp. Because he declares and believes that the election was fraudulent, his patriots have also passionately embraced this belief. The false allegation of voter fraud is equated to the very child-like Trump having an explosive temper-tantrum. His sympathizers have given him the time and space to use his flailing, abusive rhetoric and they continue to pacify him by rallying their forces to help.
At the time that this article was written, the growing number of the members of the Trump army are engaging in an unparalleled type of warfare to deliver his untarnished desire.
Who Are His Disciples?
Aside from his political allies and colleagues, a lot of the most passionate followers and lovers of Donald Trump are evangelical Christians who are predominately White. To me, I find this surprising and I cannot wrap my mind around this reality because the disposition of Trump is synonymous with greed, intimidation, arrogance, divisiveness, wealth, deception, privilege, power, hatred, racism, supremacy, cruelty, and superiority.
Christians, in the truest and purest sense of the word, are followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus represents humility, truth, and love. Those who declare that they are Christians should reflect the characteristics of Jesus.
The contrast between Donald Trump and Jesus Christ is extremely obvious. It is difficult for many people, including me, to understand how and why so many evangelicals are so attracted to Trump. It is incomprehensible how and why this group of Christians excuse and are blinded to his destructive, anti-Christ character.
The reality that has become increasingly clear is that many evangelicals have assumed the nature of Donald Trump throughout the election process. They failed to seek the Lord for His perfect will for the United States. Instead, they have advanced their exclusive agenda and desires to place Trump in office for a second term. This includes defying the democratic process that allows the people of our nation to decide through their vote. Instead, this group has embraced the Trump disposition for getting exactly what they want.
Like Donald Trump, evangelicals have capitalized on their religious power to demand that he be placed in office for a second term. Unlike Trump, their power comes through spiritual manipulation.
Evangelicals have altered scriptures to align them to their desires and to reassign the meaning of their words to their exclusive benefit. They have gained power and appealed to the masses by promoting the anti-abortion rhetoric of Trump to make it consistent to Biblical principles and standards. Evangelicals have presented a continuous flow of false prophetic utterances to share alleged messages from the Lord about Trump remaining in the office of president.
Like Trump, some of these evangelicals have gone into ranting and tantrum-like modes to demand that their desires manifest. Proof of this is shown in the Trump Spiritual Advisor Paula White-Cain video below.
Like the dedicate Trump followers who allow him to tantrum without being forced to stop, many in the Christian church are giving many of the evangelicals sustained platforms to continue using their self-created, manipulative spiritual power to demand what they want. No powerful Christian entities are telling these evangelicals to stop what they are doing. No one has dared to tell them that they are out of order and are simply wrong for becoming so entrenched in politics. Instead, they have become relentless in their quest to deliver a second term to Donald Trump.
These evangelicals have falsely aligned the perfect will of God to feed their selfish desires. They are mere con artists and charlatans because their phony messages are camouflaged by their power-hungry, self-centered greed.
Furthermore, these religious Trump followers failed to activate discernment in their lives to simply separate right from wrong. They have chosen to be led by the same host of evil spirits that motivate and guide Donald Trump instead of being motivated by the peaceful and loving spirit of Jesus.
It is now hard for other Christians like me to trust the words and motives of these evangelicals.
Data Speak Truth
The results of the presidential election have spoken loudly and they have spoken clearly. President Elect Biden has overwhelmingly won the popular as well as the Electoral College votes. The majority of the people of the United States do not want Donald Trump to be President any longer.
No fraudulent acts were committed as American citizens made their voting selection.
Instead of fighting the results in the court of law, Trump loyalist must join the evangelicals in accepting the outcome. Donald Trump lost the opportunity for a second term as President of the United States.
The sooner this is accepted as true and accurate, the sooner the nation will be able to heal from the atrocities of Donald Trump and rally their support around Joe Biden. The sooner this is accepted as true and accurate, the sooner the peaceful transition of power will ensure the sustained security of our nation.
Most importantly, the evangelicals who made false declarations about Trump winning must let their followers within the faith know that they made mistakes about hearing from God. Repentance will enable trust be established once again. Hopefully, self-pride will not override authentic repentance.
A Poor Example
Chaos has followed Donald Trump throughout his presidency as he divided the nation. All of the destructive qualities that make Donald Trump the most despicable version of himself have caused this to happen.
Sadly, impressionable children and young people who represent our future have been observing. They are fully aware of everything that has taken place during his tenure because of his character flaws and corrupt nature. They know that he continues to get away with being a liar, a cheater, and a manipulator.
Young observers have internalized what they have witnessed for the past four years. Many parents and mentors who oppose and do not like what Donald Trump represents have been forced to regularly intervene to help our youngest citizens understand that the conduct of the president has been and is absolutely anti-American.
Replacement behaviors consistently need to be taught and modeled so that children and young people do not embrace those displayed by the president.
Conclusion
We are living in desperate times in the United States because democracy is being challenged like never before.
Donald Trump absolutely refuses to acknowledge that he lost the presidential election. He will not concede. Instead, he has launched an extraordinary effort to remain in office by advancing legal efforts to overturn the results. Trump is promoting the belief that voters throughout the United States engaged in fraud.
Dedicated supporter of Trump stand with him as he seeks legal vindication in his claim so that he will remain in office. Many evangelicals are among those who support Trump and are relentless is ensuring that he continues his presidency for a second term.
Donald Trump has lived an entitled life and has always succeeded in getting exactly what he wants. Despite the results of the election, it is unknown if he will win the massive battle that he has launched to retain his power. It appears as though no one has the ability to stop him from doing so. Neither do leaders within the Christian community have the ability to stop the evangelicals from using their power to help translate his desire into reality.
Sadly, impressionable children and young people have been observing what has been happening. It is up to parents and mentors who do not support what is going on in our nation to reinforce the interpersonal characteristics that are truly American.
