At that moment, the absurdity of the situation hits you.
On the one hand, you’re about to stand trial for murder. But on the other hand, your accusers are creatures with high-pitched voices calling for your head just because you stepped on some anthill.
You start laughing uncontrollably.
“Guess I’m guilty”, you reply in the least sincere tone of voice you can muster. “Guess I’ve destroyed your temple.”
“This means death”, all the fairies start screaming simultaneously. “You shall be sacrificed to the Queen Ant.”
“Wait … so it was an anthill after all?”
Those were your final words.
