The Road to the Castle

You leave the narrow mountain path behind, and join an uphill road towards the castle. Deep lane grooves scar the road, and you wonder if these are the tracks of dwarven siege engines. The battle sounds get louder the closer you get to the castle.
You already see the fires burning on top of its beautifully crafted walls when you run into an outlier of the dwarven army.
You hide behind a bush and watch as a group of short, stout men and women roll barrels with supplies and carry weapons to nearby tents. It appears they haven’t seen you yet.
You decide to…
- hide on the cart and get a ride closer to the castle (click here).
