Back in the day when I was growing up, handheld gaming was pretty darn limited. You were stuck with two choices: either grab yourself a Nintendo DS or go all wild with something like a PSP (PlayStation Portable). And if you didn’t choose either of those, well, tough luck, my friend. But times have seriously changed since then!
Today, we’ve got a whole new ball game with a bunch of awesome options on the table. First off, you’ve got the Nintendo Switch, a game-changer that’s basically a handheld and console rolled into one. Then there’s the Steam Deck, a PC gamer’s dream, and the Asus ROG Ally, another hardcore contender in the handheld gaming arena.
Razer, the gaming gear legends, have finally unleashed their beast, the Razer Edge, beyond the borders of the US. Yep, it’s hitting select markets in Europe, Asia, and the UK.
Now, let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of this Android-based handheld/tablet hybrid. The Razer Edge was born to bring cloud gaming to the masses, with compatibility for services like Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now.

Now, here’s the thing — all these handheld PC gaming machines are awesome, but you’ve got to figure out which one fits your lifestyle like a glove. If you’re constantly on the move or just love the freedom of gaming wherever you please, these babies are a no-brainer.
But hey, if you’re the type who prefers gaming sessions that keep you glued to your seat and your curtains drawn, the PS5 or Xbox Series X might be your go-to pals. They’re in a similar price range, too. And if you want the absolute best of both worlds, well, gaming laptops are always an option.
