You wait until everyone is asleep and quietly slip away.

As you journey towards the fortress, your nerves start to fray.

By dawn, the fortress looms in the distance. You know you’re getting closer to your family.

However, as the sun reaches its zenith, you sense someone or something is tracking you. Your ears prick. You decide to hide behind a large tree quickly.

You wait—tense.

Suddenly, something crashes through the brush . . .
