The Joys of YouTube Workouts
Pick an activity to do with family — Day 9 of 30
This is a short and sweet list on the joys of YouTube workouts. My sister chose this activity because she thinks she needs to lose weight (which she most definitely doesn’t).
#1 — It’s fun!
I can vouch for this one. For this challenge, my brother (3), sisters (5 and 17), and I (24) did some simple exercises found on YouTube accompanied by some pumping music (which basically made it a party!). Disco ball optional. This may not be ideal if you live in an apartment building as we sounded like a herd of elephants.
#2 — Lose weight.
If you’re becoming a little chubby from the quarantines, extra comfort food, and obsessive need to post daily on Medium, this is an excellent way to lose weight. I’m sure this doesn’t apply to you, though ❤
#3 — Spending time together.
Having a workout party, whether planned or impromptu in the lounge, is a great way to spend time with family and/or friends. In a time when technology all too often separates us, it may also be used to bring us together. So put on your non-slip, dancing socks, get the whānau (family) together, and do a YouTube workout today!
