The Joy Of Being With Wrong People
A little exposure to toxic people has helped me learn what to do…
Nothing is planned in one’s life. From birth till the death, a person cannot always decide whom to be with. For example, we don’t choose our parents, and sometimes, we are not even given the right to choose our life partners.
Just like many other people, my life has been full of problems. This is because I didn’t choose my father, I didn’t choose my mother, and I could not even choose my husband. The problems began when I came across a lot of people with bad attitudes.
This is still amazing for me, as I have learned a lot of things. Without them, I could not be the person I am today, and I could never identify my strengths and capabilities.
Wrong People Teach How To Face Certain Challenges
The wrong people in my life (my father and my husband) have taught me how to face a wide range of challenges. For example, my father’s behavior helped me identify the worth of a daughter. Similarly, my hubby’s bad behavior urged me to become a freelance writer.
I love the idea of the bounce principle; it is the way a person deals with negative thoughts and stress. Without those toxic people, I could never understand how to handle uncertain situations and how to get rid of depression, anxiety, and stress.
Toxic People Help Avoid ‘Something Better’ Syndrome
Wrong people are the ones who always talk about ‘something better’ in personal and professional lives. They are not satisfied with what they are being provided with, and to get something better, they don’t shy making the lives of other people miserable. My husband and my father have had the same type of problem.
The two bad men did not value the things they were provided with. They have kids, beautiful and responsible wives, and houses of their own. Still, they want more and more, and this craze has always led them to cause problems for me and my mother. However, I know very well how to not let such people ruin my peace of mind.
Final Thoughts
To any man or woman who is spending their lives with toxic people, my request is to be positive. Please pay attention to who is investing in you. It may not be possible to leave those bad people, but you can at least try bringing positivity to your own life.
