The GOP Fails to Forge Agreement: MAGAdoodle Dandys Play Kick-The-Can and Call It MAGAaroni
When I was a kid, one of my favorite neighborhood games was kick-the-can. Apparently, a number of Congress people of all stripes are quite passionate about that game still today. MagaMike fooled everyone by being more devious than he appears, though, and he appears as devious as any Congressman has ever been. But the boy is a world-class can-kicker. Not only is he world-class, he also is pretty damned devious. What he actually did was give himself an excuse to force the Democrats to vote for his measure and he did it to out maneuver Margie and Mattie while showing Lauren what it actually means to reach across the aisle. By dividing up the agreement to fund the government, he made it necessary to get 2/3 of the Congress to vote for his measure because it did something new. Well, that number could only be achieved if both Democrats and Republicans joined in their support for MagaMike’s measure. It worked. But now, MagaMike has managed to disappoint the most rabid of the MAGAdoodles.
I guess MagaMike has some special powers because Azz Kizzin’ Kevin got his Azz handed to him by the Orthadox sect of The Most Fundamentalist MAGAdom worshipers. I don’t know how MagaMike got this done and still lives as Speaker, but there are lots of rumors of his imminent sacrifice to the gods of legislative incompetence as foretold by the Lost Boy Moral Police. AKA Matt and Margie Damn and the whole Damned MAGAdoodle clan. All of this chaos is promoted by the Most Orthodox of the entire sect. You see, it has been their desire to offer the US economy up in lieu of an actual human or maybe in addition to a human or two. But MagaMike outsmarted them. He kicked the can down the road. And he also gave them two chances to close the government down when they all catch up with that can. What a guy, eh?
MagaMike is a family guy, of sorts, and as a good family man who is a good provider he did not want to be a grinch, so he postponed the upcoming war over the vig on borrowed Chinese yen until a little after Christmas for one part of the government funding and, appropriately, Groundhog Day for the other part. All of which can only foretell a horrific future where Mr. and Mrs. Damn and the whole Damned MAGAdoodle clan, defaults on the national debt to force Old Joe out of office. It’s a stupid plan, but then remembering who it is who most wants the government to default on its debt are the most Orthodox of the Orthodox clansters. The math they use is not Orthodox but they believe in it even to their own detriment. The math they use seems to be all or nothing. In other words, rather than forge agreements to further a collective cause in the country they preen about saying the most outrageous things. But they sure are pretty, don’t you think?
It baffles me as to why the MAGAdoodle bunch cannot grasp the idea that the way anyone in a democracy gets what they want is if they forge the agreement to produce or fund or legislate or craft a service. As long as people vote for the legislation or the legislator or buy the product, or pay the taxes required to build the bridge or otherwise make life easier for humanity in enough quantity and quality to humanity, they will have forged the agreement with the public to continue in what they do.
It is not possible to demand a Japanese garden be built. It is not possible to demand a flat tire be filled with air. It is not possible to demand that your children fly. The garden requires time and constant adjustment for perhaps 100 years. The tire requires special attention which demanding does not provide. You can demand all you want with children, but they will not fly or do the dishes or mow the lawn or pick up their toys in response to your demands. Ummm, I do not understand how Mrs. and Mr. Damn and the Damned MAGAdoodles en mass think that if they demand, then the world will conform to that demand. Ms. Margie Damn just demanded that Ms. Omar be punished for stating that Palestinian civilians are being killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza. The population of the area is made up of somewhere around 50% children. Ms. Damn, she of the embryonic angst, doesn’t give a damn about those Palestinian children. But she thinks she’s right and doesn’t want to be confused with facts. Facts would deny her carefully staged bitch sessions any credibility at all. Kind of like 45 saying he lost because the voting was rigged. Awww. Poor punkins.
I can’t understand how the MAGAdoodle clansters think that it is a good strategy to con people into believing they’re innocent while they’re passing legislation to make all women slaves to the state. Consider that none of the Magas are concerned about the embryos that are discarded at fertility clinics. One of the Republican Old Guys even said that quiet part out loud. His defense for his disinterest in those embryos was that they were not in a woman. Google it.
The one common MAGA characteristic is they all demand. 45 demands “loyalty”. He demands fantasy be consumed at the same smorgasbord as reality. He demands subservience to his perceived higher social position. Kari demands that she is credible as she follows down the idiotic path of denying elections. Ron Da Di Dum demands that woke is a fatal disease while he demands that Disney cow-tow to his fantasy of his own greatness. That washed out coach demands that his believed religious righteousness be the law of the land.
Not any of those folks can forge an agreement if their political lives depend on it. They do and them MAGAs just don’t. When Mr. And Mrs. Damn and the whole Damned MAGA Clan hold their press release bitch sessions, they are not credible and besides no one likes bullies. At least when Ms. Omar champions the children of Gaza she’s a credible human being. I may or may not agree with her policies but I have to agree with her humanity. I get that Hamas can no longer exist. I deplore the hate demonstrated by that delegation of horrors — I deplore the hate demonstrated by Mr. and Mrs. Damn too. In reality, I can kind of understand the hate from Hamas. The Gaza Strip is not an oasis of earthly delights. Israel has not demonstrated much more than South African level apartheid when dealing with the Palestinians. It should not have been a surprise to anyone that hate would have built up over the years to the point that it would explode. It has now exploded and I doubt that any data has been generated which could prevent such excesses. What is taking place now will not result in harmonic exchanges between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
I wonder if there is just as much hate to be overcome on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. Will this demanding bunch of grandstanders rise to the occasion of leadership on the world stage or will they continue with their unbearable arrogance while claiming the status of the righteous? I don’t know about you but I can’t see how many of the MAGAdoodle clan will survive the next election cycle. Why do I say they’re arrogant? The voters in Ohio voted to include a woman’s right to choose in their constitution and MAGAdoodles want to deny that vote. How in the hell can American legislators behave in such a callous and arrogant fashion? Americans are partial to their freedom. MAGAs should take care to protect that freedom as opposed to trifling with it. Trifling never ends well guys, really.
