Abstract

</figure><p id="3065">Today we went for a visit to the game park not far from us. It was about a mile’s walk and we got to see lots of deer which are right now in their breeding season. But almost more impressive than seeing all the wildlife was the view of the forest. The sky was overcast and low-hanging fog covered the ground. If all goes according to plan I’ll get a change of scenery rather sooner than later.</p><p id="56c2">So, here I am, enjoying this view as long as I can. The Golden Month

Week 64 of the photographic documentary of my daily life

They call it “golden October” for a reason. There’s gold all around us. Living in a region named “forest”, orange, yellow, and red are not only taking over the scenic image but dominate the scenery.

Temperatures have gone down but in between a heavy storm and some stubborn morning fog, we got lots of sunshine this week.

Starting off my week with the famous roses on our terrace. I’ve captured them since early spring this year. Every month they’ve been blooming. And today I got them in the sunrise light.

The city of Miltenberg has lots of trees along the shoreline but also throughout the old city. Alleys of trees are decorating the roads leading through town. This is the end of a bridge leading across the river Main.

There isn’t much fun about going skydiving in these freezing temperatures and I don’t understand why people would decide to go on a tandem jump at this time of the year. But the view above the “Odenwald” is surely worth the cold. The forest just looks so beautiful at this time of the year.

This is me taking a selfie mid-air. Because I’ve heard you guys like these different kinds of photographs.
