Abstract

is Dharma. We live with Dharma, in Dharma and we are Dharma. In truth there is no ‘self’ just Dharma arising and ceasing. Knowing this you can let go of attachment, release the burden. The gift of Dharma is inexhaustible, free and has lasting worth. ‘The Gift of Dharma.’

#WednesdayWisdom — what’s free, never runs out and you can share it with as many people as you wish?…

The Gift of Dharma really is ‘the gift that keeps on giving’. Lord Buddha’s teachings have been shared and passed down from teacher to student for over 2500 years. Great practitioners including His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama simply ask that, as beneficiaries of hearing the teachings, we pay it forward so that as many people as possible have the opportunity to learn about and practice Dharma, experiencing for themselves the benefits of developing wisdom and living in peace and harmony with ourselves and each other. We repay the kindness shown to us by helping others.

When we practice guru devotion we remember and show our gratitude for the lineages which have kept the teachings alive and the monks and teachers who have dedicated their lives to making sure we have free and unlimited access to everything we need in order to understand and live this life well.

“Everything is Dharma. We live with Dharma, in Dharma and we are Dharma. In truth there is no ‘self’ just Dharma arising and ceasing. Knowing this you can let go of attachment, release the burden. The gift of Dharma is inexhaustible, free and has lasting worth. You can pass it on to as many people as you wish.”

May this teaching lead you to happiness; may it help you grow in truth. May you be freed from the suffering of birth and death.
