Essential Points of Dharma Practice.
eight inter-connected ways to bring more peace to yourself and more harmony in your interactions with others……

The aim of our practice is to look directly at the mind:
- You must examine yourself and know who YOU are, body and mind; watch your mind and use wisdom
- Don’t try to achieve anything, just be mindful of what is; you will see suffering, its cause and its end
- You must have patience and endurance; gradually you will learn the values of giving, patience and devotion
- Be natural, not too strict and don’t watch others or get caught up with outward form
- Watch your intention and guard against harmful speech and actions
- Don’t discriminate or judge other people, there are all varieties, no need to carry the burden of wishing to change them all
- Make sure you leave the kamma of others to them. Don’t cling and don’t watch others
- Be patient, practice morality, live simply and be natural
“Watch the mind. This is our practice. It will lead you to unselfishness, to peace.
Those who are too clever will never learn. You must get rid of your cleverness, thinking yourself better than others you will only suffer. No need to get upset, just watch.”
