You plunge through the forest on your unplanned detour back to the cave, your mind cut off from all physical control. Wolves howl in the darkness, and yet you continue.

The journey goes undisturbed, and when morning breaks you come to a standstill outside of a cave. Lorenzo’s cave.

You wait all day, all night, and then another day.

As dusk settles, Lorenzo steps outside.

“Oh yes.” Mild surprise flickers across his face. “How could I forget?”

He pulls a knife.

“Time to fortify the spell.”

He snaps his fingers and you collapse. Control is relinquished.

You start to run.
