The “Dan Bilzerians” Are Destroying the True Meaning of Masculinity
And poisoning entire generations of young men

The fake alphas have infested every nook and corner of the internet.
Armed with Cuban cigars and a battalion of (hired) Botox-lipped plastic models, these wannabes peddle you “Get laid in 3 hours” coaching packages.
That’s the masculine dream, isn’t it?
A life of sensual depravity amidst gorgeous women, roaring supercars, intoxicating cocktails, and luxury yachts.
Wrong.
Once the hedonistic adaptation kicks in, such a life feels incredibly shallow and unfulfilling.
Such living is actually the farthest from true masculinity.
The Only Thing Masculinity Burns Down To
As David Deida explains in his masterpiece The Way Of The Superior Man, every man has a masculine “core”.
An amalgamation of traits, preferences, and talents as unique as your DNA.
So (your) masculinity burns down to unearthing your masculine core — and sticking true to it.
Realizing your core → Finding your purpose and mission → Zero confusion and distraction → A fulfilling life of unwavering direction.
Then, the pillars of masculinity become natural side effects — integrity, authenticity, humility, benevolence.
An eccentric billionaire playboy striving to take humanity to Mars. A disabled single father raising his daughter with the utmost love. Taking on a life of celibacy to gift the world with electricity.
They are all epitomes of masculinity — because they’re way more aligned to their masculine cores than most of us are.
Unearthing Your Masculine Core Is a Work of A Lifetime
In the past 2 years, my life perspective and belief system have undergone 180-degree shifts — multiple times.
At 22 years old, I’ve barely scratched the surface of my masculine core.
Hyper-successful men in their 30s and 40s still say they haven’t “found themselves”.
It’s laughable that the “gurus” urge you to find your purpose by musing on the toilet seat.
Years. Decades. Sometimes, even an entire lifetime isn’t enough to tunnel to the heart of your masculine core.
Drowned in mediocrity, many men step into their graves with a truckload of regret — and without a single inkling of their purpose.
That isn’t a position we want to be in, brother.
Introspect hard. Chase growth at the cost of comfort. Be glad, but not content. Dare to be a lone wolf in a world that runs in a bleating pack of sheep.
Expand your horizons — both inner and outer.
“Unadorned suffering is the bedmate of masculine growth. Only by staying intimate with your personal suffering can you feel through it to its source.”
— David Deida
Your Life Purpose Is to Find Your Purpose
Yacht parties, drug hazes, fat bank notes, and scantily clad pretty women are fun — for weeks or even months, maybe.
But then what?
Unless you’re aligned to the path of your purpose, there will be a deep-seated feeling of discontent.
A squeamish sense that ruins your mental peace with whispers of existential crisis.
“Everything in your life, from your diet to your career, must be aligned with your purpose if you are to act with coherence and integrity in the world.
If you know your purpose, your deepest desire, then the secret of success is to discipline your life so that you support your deepest purpose and minimize distractions and detours.”
Be it head-banging with LSD coursing through your veins or binge-watching Peaky Blinders, recognize that they are breaks — and return to your purpose.
Meditation. Working out. Pouring your energy into valuable work. Journaling. Eating nourishing food. Hugging your mother. Letting your curiosity make you try new subjects and experiences.
The more goodness you inject into your life, the more the smoky haze clears—and the higher the chances of finding your purpose.
Maybe you’ll become a K-1 welterweight champion kickboxer or a pinstriped oil-business tycoon.
Until then, onward and upward.
