The content reflects the author's appreciation for nature and wildlife, particularly their fondness for cats.

HOLY COW!

The Buck Stops Here

And this Big Boy has no fear

Author’s Archives.

Seen: A big ol’ buck in our backyard. Likes the hickory nuts scattered there.

Heard: White-tailed deer are native to our neck of the woods, and average 15–45 critters per square mile, even in the city.

Noted: Our deer friends aren’t timid. We often get up to a dozen visitors a day, nibbling on hickories by the house. We had a Mama Deer and triplets hanging with us. Wrote my first Shortform post about them.

Quoted: “That’s a Big Boy!” My SIL, the first time he saw this guy visiting.

Love Mother Nature’s progeny, but I’m more of a Cat Lady. Have you heard about Cleo? Deer don’t bother her, but the birds and squirrels do!
