The best wildflowers and insects of the dry Chaco

In-between the valley of the Conlara river and the Comechingones mountains, in central Argentina

I recently spent some days of relaxation in what’s the southern part of the ecological region dubbed “Chaco seco” or “dry Chaco” in central Argentina. Despite having “dry” in its name, this region is the habitat of an important number of plant and animal species. In this photo-story I share with you my best shots of its wildflowers and insects posing on them.
