Even a dry river can support life and host beautiful flowers. Come and see a river of the dry Chaco in central Argentina, and the many flowers it hosts.

When there’s no rain, the river is just nonexistent:

When it rains, the water flows quickly away. But the margins retain humidity, and look very green:

In summer the riversides are in fact populated by green bushes and grasses, and colorful flowers:
