Sunset in the Suburbs
Day 83: Surrendering to what is brings beauty to your days

Last night as my husband and I were driving to the library to return some DVDs, we saw a beautiful light orange sunset. When we were near the little local airport, and we could see the dark outlines of the hills. A beautiful orange glow lit up the sky, fading to a hazy blue. I was in awe of this sight. This happens every day, everywhere, all over the world. When you are in the moment, observing the wonders of nature, it is easier to let go of everything troubling you.
Lately, I have been waiting to hear from someone. Sometimes your heart hurts while you are waiting, and negativity takes over. However, I feel that last night the universe let me know that it was okay to let go. Everything is going to work out for the highest good. The sheer beauty of nature is our teacher. Nature keeps on shining, keeps growing and keeps evolving every single day. It does not stop to dwell on negative feelings.
When I woke up this morning, I did a surrendering meditation. As I held the palms of my hands up, resting on my lap in silence, I felt the negative energy leaving. How freeing it is to let go! Holding on to negativity closes us off to experiencing the joys in everyday life. My entire being feels lighter today, and I am ready to infuse love into every action I take.
The way to facilitate satisfaction in relationships is lovingly to picture the best possible outcome. Make sure it is mutually beneficial: a win-win situation. Let go of all the negative feelings and merely hold the picture in mind. We can tell if we are really surrendered when we feel okay either way; it’s okay with us if it happens, it’s okay with us if it doesn’t. -David R. Hawkins

I feel ready for whatever outcome that comes my way. Joy has returned to the spaces all around me. I have a smile on my face as I write this, and happiness radiates from my inner being. Today is the day to infuse joy into my work and spread love to everyone. It is a bright, sunny day and a perfect day to create.
My prayer and my intention for you today is to hold the image of best possible outcome for yourself and others. Holding this picture in your mind brings joy into your heart and those of others. This is a beautiful way to spread the love you feel to everyone.
What is the best possible outcome for you today?
