Such Is the Blessing of Friends
A randomly silly acrostic poem

Freedom granted to be who you are Rain, hail, or shine, all over the moon In a swish Lamborghini or a clapped-out Mini Minor Emotions on show, raw, wrung out, rip-roaring rosy No judgement here, none at all, never Dependable, devoted, ‘I’m here for you always’ Such is the blessing of friends

Is there no end to my silliness? Or my randomness? But, hey, we’re all friends here and I can be silly if I want, right?! 😅
Besides, I’ve written this acrostic poem in response to Paper Poetry’s Week 25 prompt: friends, where it’s open house, Friends gather here.
And gathering they are —
🌻 William J Spirdione has brought along sunflowers and a Friends twittle—
👭 Jenine Bsharah Baines has shared her embellished paper towel and a tribute to a dear friend in Pay It Forward —
🏮 Suntonu Bhadra has turned on the spotlights and provided an intriguing twist in Friends are Selfish Beings —
Calling now on a few more friends to gather around and join the prompt if time and life permits — Katie Michaelson | Wry Welwood | Margie Willis | Jim Dutton | Dennett 🙏 ✨
Of course, the more friends the merrier, so please, pile on in! 🙏 💞
The prompt details are here —
Can’t Make It to the Friends Prompt?
If time and life gets in the way and you miss the friends prompt, remember there’s the Random Poetry prompt that can be your whenever-you’re-ready backup. Check it out here —
