Spring Break in Paris
It was short but sweet…
This drabble (100-word story) is a response to Crush Hundo Edition’s word prompt. Today’s word is SHIMMER.
When she smiled, she didn’t just glow, she shimmered. She was the most beautiful being Zack had ever seen.
They met in a café off the Champs-Elysees in Paris. They were both on spring break, and they wanted something unconventional. Neither one of them were big partiers.
Zack heard her ordering a latte in broken French, and he knew immediately that he had to meet her. They ended up spending the next two weeks together; every second of every day.
But when it was time to board each of their planes, they kissed goodbye and went their separate ways.
This 25th drabble is written as part of the “100 Story Challenge” by @Zane Dickens.
