Life and Death

Andrew contemplated his decision…

Thank you to Crush Hundo Edition for doing these hundo prompts. Today’s word is SOAR.

Andrew had a choice between the white pill and the black pill. He contemplated the decision for a while, unsure as to what the consequences would be. But in the end, he chose white.

And now he was soaring above everything and everyone he’d ever known. He saw his mother cradling him in her arms. He saw his wife playing with the children in the garden. And he saw her weeping over his hospital bed.

He could see his birth and his death simultaneously. Time wasn’t linear anymore, it was cylindrical. It was as if it didn’t exist at all.

Thank you for reading my story. I’d love to hear your opinions.
