Sleep Your Way To Weight Loss

Are pants getting too tight? Have you checked your weight and got stunned by the weight gain? And with Covid-19 forcing many people to work from home for a few years, it’s easy to have gained the extra weight.
If you want to get back your healthy weight without using diet pills or doing extreme exercise, you might want to try this way — tons of people have tried it, including my own family, and have got positive results.
It’s called intermittent fasting. Fasting has been around for thousands of years but this type of fasting is different.
The first way is what I term 8:16. You eat what you want for an 8-hour block. After 8 hours, you stop eating but you are allowed liquids, such as water or other non-sugary beverages.
Consider this scenario: you get up at 10 am, and start eating your breakfast lunch, and dinner until 6 pm. You eat nothing until the next day. Alternatively, you can change the start times based on your personal preference and only eat within the 8-hour block. After that, you have to wait 16 hours before you start eating again. You are permitted unsweetened tea and beverages and water during the fast.
Choose a window time and the popular ones include 7 to 3 pm; 12 pm to 8 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm. The later the start time allows you to fast mostly at night when you are sleeping and you won’t notice the fast as much.
This is certainly a fast because you’ll be depriving your body of food for 16 hours. This is not to be tried on your vacation because your cruise holiday or trip to Rome won’t feel the same if you deprive yourself of all that delicious food.
Supporters of intermittent fasting say that you won't feel hungry because the bulk of the time when you are not eating is when you will be sleeping. You will wake up lighter. When you are planning your meals, include a wholesome breakfast, healthy lunch, and dinner, with salad and fruit for dessert. Be sure to include nutrient-friendly foods, such as whole grains, healthy fats, and proteins.
Does this fasting work? My relatives say they have lost a few pounds already, after only going on intermittent fasting for a few weeks.
I checked the Reddit Community for results and was floored by some people’s positive outcomes. One couple dropped 100 lbs between them. Another woman dropped 75 lbs using intermittent fasting.
One person wrote: I cut out sugar and processed foods, and stopped drinking Pepsi and no sugar in my coffee, then I started IF 2 months ago … I bought access to a fitness app called pink dragon and I work out most days for one hour. And I started as obese, I was so happy when I got overweight, and my head almost exploded this morning and I saw that now I was normal🤩🥳 I read on this sub every day to get tips and get motivated…
I see lots of smiling faces and astounding before and after pictures of people doing this diet.
One person also mentioned she is no longer hungry all the time.
