Simple Strategy To Resurrect Your Medium Account

In the short time that I have been a writer on Medium, I have been able to observe the same mistakes in many new user accounts. And practically their accounts are dead.
(I’m not saying it in an offensive tone, I’ll explain, what I mean by that.)
All users have different reasons for posting their stories on Medium, and each’s strategies may be slightly different.
But, many users start creating stories and hitting “Publish” without realizing that this is the slowest route to organically grow the main base of your account.
Increase your followers
I’ve seen Medium accounts of new users, with high-quality content, and they possibly pressed “Publish” hoping their story will be curated by Medium, and that’s not bad.
The problem is that, if you upload articles directly to the Medium algorithm, only people who find your writing through tags will see your work, or those who find you and see you on your profile.
The process of growing your followers is going to be slower.
To that you add the management of your emotions to see every day, your statistics, and that the visits are minimal.
That is why I want to help you in a practical way.
What to do to revive your Medium account?
1. Apply today to become a writer for a publication.
Why am I telling you this so directly, because the first thing you need to do is create a group of followers who follow your content, who are interested in what you write?
And if you already have something written in your account, that serves as your experience to dare to take the next step.
Be a writer in a Publication.
Why?
In it, you have more opportunities for your publications to be seen by more people. And increase the number of followers on your account.
Remember without followers there are no views, without views there are no readings, and without readings, there are no possible followers.
Before applying to a publication you have to calmly read its submission guidelines.

What is the benefit of being part of a Publication?
You will be able to get more visits to your account and as a consequence, more possible followers. But remember you have to continue writing in order to meet the reading needs of your followers.
2. Learn to use Tags to your advantage.
For example, if you constantly write recipes, try to use the same Tags in each of your publications on the same topic, so you will be creating a database of your publications, pointing to the same Tag you can become a top writer on that topic. (I can’t tell you how long, but consistency will lead to that result if your stories are of quality)
You have the option of up to 5 tags per post, use all 5 and try to use them that are more related to your article.

Several suggestions appear to the right there, choose the ones that most relate to your article.
Another suggestion, below you will see several stories under that tag, you can look for one that resembles your topic and enter and see which tags that person used in their article. That can serve as a guide as well. (Use as an example article with more than 2000 applause)
3. Try to maintain an acceptable posting routine
You are already as a writer of a publication, remember this is only the beginning, later you can request other publications.
You are also using the tags constantly. And related to your topic.
If you are starting with the topic of (Food), you can then add other topics of interest to your writings that you like and have experienced, and little by little you will see the reaction of your followers in the statistics.
After a month of writing constantly in your account, you will have an idea of the individual performance of your writing and you will know which topics you can publish more often and which ones not.
You can create content and make it public by pressing “Publish” but we are trying to resuscitate your account, and that way you can do it, but more slowly.
What I want now is for you to increase the number of your followers.
My suggestion of articles per month:
Good: 15 articles per month
Best: 20 articles per month
Much better: 30 articles per month
Very important: Try to maintain the quality of your articles at all times.
Try to make sure you meet the requirements of the publication where you are going to publish.
Conclusion
There are more publications in which you can request to enter, depending on the topic of interest you have, there are publications that specialize in different topics.
Try this strategy for a month, and then study your results. After 30 days you will have more followers and next month continue creating new topics for them and your new followers.
