POETRY / 30 DAY POETRY CHALLENGE
Shouting into the Storm
Prompt Day 16: Unbowed and unapologetic

I shout into the coming storm. The sky is black just like a bruise. In the likeness of Goddess I am reborn, unrepentant, making no excuse.
I will not hide to save your pride. I will not bow, and won’t be cowed. My inner truth won’t be denied, for I’m a stronger woman now.
Throughout the month of June, I‘m taking the Know Thyself, Heal Thyself 30 Day Poetry Challenge, with thanks to Diana C. Thanks also to Tree Langdon for inspiring me to take part.
